I also made a blanket!

I asked my niece what she wanted for her birthday and she said a blanket! So she pick the colors, and viola! A soft, warm, pretty blanket just for Madison!

Memory Album

So I pulled together some resources, and created a memory book for my bf. He had no pictures of himself other than pictures we had taken together in the last 3-4 years, so I put the word out with his family, and got a flood of response. Through the love of his family and 2 weeks of feverish scrapbooking mayhem, this is the result. Note: I am still waiting on a couple of pictures to add to a certain page, so you will notice some available space) Enjoy.

Scrapbook of Recipes!

I knew I would love this book when it was completed, so the first thing I did was to personalize it with the name of the person I was making it for! (Just to make sure I didn't change my mind and keep it, lol)

I must say I really like this scrapbook! It has almost all of my favorite recipes perfectly laid out.

I had a couple of "oohers and awwers"  tell me I should keep it since I put so much work into it; but doesn't that defeat the purpose of gift giving? Shouldn't a gift have more meaning than a "something nice, I picked up"?
